TADRIS

Transcripts that prove themselves.

Course records and credentials issued directly by the institution, checkable by anyone, and owned by the person they describe. The registrar workflow stays the same. What changes is where the record lives.

THE WORKFLOW

What the registrar keeps doing, and what stops.

The registrar still decides what gets issued, checks it, and approves it, the same as today. What changes is what happens after.

The record goes to the student with its own proof attached, so an employer checks it directly instead of emailing the office. The registrar stops answering verification requests one at a time, and there's no vendor database to migrate when a contract ends.

THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES

Verification shouldn't take three weeks.

Today an employer emails a registrar, the registrar checks a database, and someone sends a PDF back. The PDF proves nothing on its own, which is why credential fraud is easy and verification is slow.

A credential issued through Tadris carries its own proof. Checking it is a query, not a phone call.

Tadris: a credential that carries its own proof A Tadris credential issued by Northgate University, marked verified. The degree (BSc Computer Science) is public, the student ID is shared with the employer, and the date of birth is private and redacted. Issued once, checkable by anyone. Northgate University DEGREE BSc Computer Science STUDENT ID With employer DATE OF BIRTH PUBLIC SHARED PRIVATE VERIFIED ISSUED ONCE · CHECKABLE BY ANYONE

PRIVACY

You choose what's visible, field by field.

A credential can mark individual fields as public, shareable with named parties, or private. Private fields never reach the network at all, so there's nothing sitting there to leak. The network keeps only a fingerprint of each one, enough to confirm the field is real and unchanged later, and never enough to read it.

THE DETAIL

For institutions Ordinary registrar and course workflows.
For students The record belongs to you, not the school's vendor.
For employers Verification is a lookup, not a request.
Privacy Per field: public, shared, or never transmitted.
